Here at The White Stag Inn we are set in amongst the beautiful Scottish village of Strathyre, the gateway to the Highlands! Overlooked by the magical Ben Sheann and the challenging Stuc a Chroin, with the beautiful Loch Lubnaig only a stone’s throw away.
In our lovely bar we serve everything from real ales, which are changed weekly, to high end Scottish malts and gins, in front of a roaring open fire during the winter. All complemented by the heart-warming food freshly prepared and cooked by our very talented chef, Steve Nixon.
During the warmer months, our beer garden is open to all. With space for the kids to burn off energy and fantastic views we’re sure you won’t give it a miss, even if you do need to keep a jacket on!
For people needing a cosy bed for the night we have accommodation available with a hearty breakfast included in the price. We are biker friendly, child friendly and dog friendly, however we do politely ask that you keep dogs on leads while in the bar… for children this is optional!
Scotland’s biggest airports, Glasgow and Edinburgh, are only an hour drive from our doorstep. We are ideally situated on the Rob Roy Way so perfect for a night stop over on your way.
The White Stag is featured in the motorcycle directory, Trossachs directory, The Good Beer Guide and has won CAMRA’s Rural Pub of the Year 3 times. Our motto here at The White Stag Inn is there is no such thing as strangers, only friends we haven’t met!
So come and give us a visit, we look forward to welcoming you!
